Refugees who wants to renew their visas online has until 30 June to apply. On 15 April, Home Affairs Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi prolonged the validity of asylum seeker visas and refugee statuses which expired throughout COVID-19 lockdown.


With the online extension, a holder of an asylum seeker visa or a refugee standing can request an extension of visa via e mail, with out having to bodily go to a refugee reception office.
