Chippa United have parted methods with club captain Isaac Nhlapo after each events reached a mutual settlement.

Nhlapo, 30, joins Oupa Manyisa, Thokozani Sekotlong and Anthony Laffor in leaving the Gqeberha-based facet after serving to the club survive relegation final season.

Nhlapo made 23 DStv Premiership appearances for Chippa United final season as the club struggled to fifteenth place in the closing standings.
The Chilli Boys have appointed former Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt as their new head coach to switch Lehlohonolo Seema who has moved on to Golden Arrows.
Nhlapo’s supervisor Mandla Mthembu has confirmed his consumer’s departure.

“It’s a question of the technical team feeling that he does not feature in the direction that the club is taking. We engaged with the club chairman and came to a decision to mutually terminate,” Mthembu informed the Kickoff website.
“This is in the interest of both parties because we cannot have a captain sitting on the bench and being frustrated, there is nothing untoward. Nhlapho enjoyed his time with the club and was well looked after.”

Mthembu couldn’t reveal Nhlapo’s subsequent vacation spot.
“We are already looking for options towards the next chapter for Nhlapho.”
